Job Description:

As a Network and IT Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of our company’s network infrastructure. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure the availability, performance, and security of networks and computer systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network architectures, including local networks (LAN), wide-area networks (WAN), and wireless networks (Wi-Fi).
  • Configure and administer network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, proxy servers, VPNs, etc.
  • Establish network security policies to protect sensitive data and prevent cyber attacks.
  • Conduct regular security analyses and penetration tests to identify and rectify vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor network performance and resolve network incidents within specified timelines.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deploy new technologies and enhance the operational efficiency of the network.
  • Document network configurations, operational procedures, and security policies.

Profile:

  • Graduated from an engineering school or university in computer science or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Network and IT Security Engineer.
  • Proficient in network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, etc.) and network technologies (Ethernet, VLAN, MPLS, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.) and IT security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.).
  • Project management skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
